Professor Ryu Gijin of Korea University Anam Hospital Receives Academic Award from the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Korea University Anam Hospital announced on the 16th that Professor Ryu Ki-jin of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology received the 'Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Academic Award' at the 108th Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Academic Conference held on the 11th and 12th at Songdo Convensia, Incheon.
Professor Ryu was recognized for his academic excellence by continuously publishing research achievements in the field of reproductive endocrinology, including polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, fertility preservation, and menopause, becoming the recipient of the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Academic Award (Reproductive Endocrinology Division).
The Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Academic Award is given to the researcher with the most outstanding paper achievements in each field over the past two years. Professor Ryu published numerous studies, including a paper published last year in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine journal 'Fertility and Sterility' (Risk of type 2 diabetes is increased in nonobese women with polycystic ovary syndrome: the National Health Insurance Service-National Sample Cohort Study).
