Hwasun-gun Supports 'Safe Home Security Set' for Single Women Households
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyuk-jun] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) announced on the 14th that it will support Safe Home security sets in response to the recent increase in crimes such as residential intrusion and sexual violence targeting women.
This project is being promoted to alleviate the anxiety of single-woman households and create an environment where they can live safely.
The county secured a special grant of 30 million won through the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Resident Life Innovation Case Expansion Support Project' contest.
It plans to provide a total of 100 households with three types of Safe Home security sets consisting of a smart doorbell, door opening sensor, and window lock device, targeting local single-woman households and legally recognized single-parent families.
Eligibility for support is single-woman households or legally recognized single-parent families residing in Hwasun-gun who own a home wireless internet (WI-FI) router.
Apartment residents are excluded. However, Booyoung 1, 2, 3, 5, 6th complexes, Daekwang Roseviang 1 and 2 complexes, and Hongyonghango-eul Apartments are included in the support target.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center or by emailing the person in charge at the Family Vitality Division by the 30th, and applicants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants must submit an application form, resident registration certificate (within 3 months), lease contract (for applicable households), and single-parent certificate (for applicable households).
