Shinhan Bank Donates 100 Million Won for Abused Children
Support for Winter Clothing and Replacement Costs of Aging Home Appliances
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Shinhan Bank announced on the 14th that it donated 100 million KRW to nationwide shelters for abused children and the children themselves at the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation headquarters located in Mugyo-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, in observance of Child Abuse Prevention Day (November 19).
Since 2021, through the 'Donghaeng' project, Shinhan Bank has supported 29 nationwide shelters for abused children by providing vehicles and covered fuel expenses for 44 shelters, striving to address social issues related to children and adolescents. This donation will be used to provide warm winter clothing and replace outdated home appliances such as washing machines and dryers for children at 113 shelters nationwide, ensuring they have a warm winter.
