[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A woman attempting to steal propofol from an operating room at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam was urgently arrested by the police.
On the 10th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating a woman in her 20s, identified as A, without detention on charges of theft and violation of the Narcotics Control Act.
A is suspected of trying to steal 10cc of propofol contained in a syringe from an operating room at a plastic surgery clinic located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at around 5:20 p.m. on the 7th.
A had visited the hospital as a patient and committed the crime while the medical staff were away. She concealed the propofol by placing it inside her underwear.
