North Korea: "The Creation Speed of the Great Kim Jong Un Era Is Truly Like a Supersonic Airplane"
Arms Development Speed Race: Self-Praise
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hee-jun] North Korea praised Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, while boasting about the weapon development it has pursued in recent years as a 'myth' or 'miracle.'
The Workers' Party organ Rodong Sinmun on the 10th, in an article titled "There is no power in the world that can stop the march of Juche Korea, whose people's courage and determination are raised high by the great leader," stated, "With the greatest man in the world leading from the front, our people have overcome countless trials and achieved an astonishing leap in a new era that changes from morning to evening," and emphasized, "Following the achievement of a world miracle by continuously possessing weapons that had only been the possessions of great powers for years, the mass development and creation of invincible Juche weapons never seen by others is another myth that will never exist again in the world."
The weapons mentioned by the newspaper are interpreted to refer to intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs), and hypersonic missiles, which North Korea has been fervently developing recently.
The newspaper also stated, "Starting from the Masikryong Speed, which built a world-class ski resort in a short period that others could not even imagine, to the Dawn Myth, the earth-shaking transformation of Samjiyon City, and the Hwaseong Speed, the creative speed of the great Kim Jong-un era is literally the speed of a supersonic airplane flying in the sky."
It further evaluated, "The recent thrilling news of our revolutionary armed forces' resolute and overwhelming practical military measures to crush the enemy's persistent war provocation frenzy is boosting the people's confidence and courage for certain victory throughout the country."
