The accommodation where Crown Prince Muhammad and his large entourage will stay is known to be Lotte Hotel Seoul, located in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. It is reported that Lotte Hotel Seoul was chosen to facilitate smooth business meetings with companies.
Lotte Hotel Seoul is actively preparing to host the Crown Prince. Muhammad bin Salman and his party are expected to stay divided between the Main Tower (original building) and the Executive Tower (new building). The Crown Prince's accommodation is likely the Royal Suite (460.8㎡) on the 32nd floor of the Executive Tower, the highest-grade room at Lotte Hotel Seoul. This room is for VVIPs such as heads of state, political and business figures, famous domestic and international celebrities, and sports stars, and is mostly used during state visits. Former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, former French President Fran?ois Mitterrand, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Park Chan-ho, David Beckham, Hines Ward (NFL), and Sophie Marceau have used this room.
The Royal Suite consists of one room each in the original and new buildings, with the new building's room being more luxurious and spacious. Based on the listed price, the Royal Suite's one-night rate is 22 million KRW for the new building room and 15 million KRW for the original building room. A dedicated manager handles room reservations and operates a private elevator for guests.
Crown Prince Muhammad and his entourage have reserved 400 rooms. When a state-level dignitary visits, the entire floor of guest rooms is rented at once for security and protection reasons. Preparations for the rooms to be used by Crown Prince Muhammad reportedly began earlier this month. Currently, the surrounding rooms and floors below are all under control. A Lotte Hotel official said, "For security reasons, it is difficult to disclose the exact schedule and scale," adding, "The visit of Crown Prince Muhammad will not cause significant inconvenience to regular hotel guests."
