Gwangju Nam-gu to Specially Manage 9 CSAT Test Sites on the 17th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is implementing measures such as traffic control around the test sites in relation to the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scheduled for the 17th.
According to Nam-gu on the 10th, there are a total of nine CSAT test sites within the district.
On the test day, the 17th, starting from 5 a.m., Nam-gu will deploy 58 on-site personnel around the test sites to control the entry, exit, and parking of vehicles other than public transportation within a 200-meter radius of the test site entrances.
Even vehicles carrying examinees will not be allowed to enter, so examinees must get off at least 200 meters away and proceed on foot.
Additionally, illegal parking management will be intensively conducted on Seomun-daero from Baegun Square to the Gwangju University section, where test sites are concentrated.
In particular, vehicles illegally parked on main roads within 2 km of the test sites will be moved, and if drivers do not comply with the relocation, the vehicles will be towed immediately.
Traffic convenience will also be provided for examinees.
Nam-gu plans to provide transportation vehicles from the district office or coordinate with the police for emergency transport for examinees who arrive late due to not bringing or losing their admission tickets.
Furthermore, cooperation letters have been sent to bus and taxi transport associations as well as construction sites near the test sites, requesting them to refrain from unnecessary honking around the test areas.
