New COVID-19 Cases 55,365... 8,478 More Than Last Week, 52 Deaths (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Byeon Seon-jin] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 10th at midnight that 55,365 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total cumulative number of confirmed cases to 26,037,020.
The number of new cases on this day decreased by 7,107 compared to the previous day (62,472), but increased by 8,478 compared to a week ago on the 3rd (46,887). It is also 20,390 more than two weeks ago on October 27 (34,975). The health authorities have classified the current COVID-19 situation as the "7th wave" as of the 9th.
