Traffic Safety Education and Helmet Distribution
[Jindo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Namjoong] The Jindo Police Station (Chief Ahn Hyungjoo) conducted safety education to prevent traffic accidents involving the elderly.
On the 4th, at the Jisan-myeon Office in Jindo County, a safety helmet delivery ceremony, an award presentation to the Jisan-myeon chief, and safety education were held with the attendance of 37 township chiefs and village heads.
The police plan to carry out various activities such as education and campaigns to ensure elderly traffic safety and establish a safe traffic culture.
Ahn Hyungjoo, chief of Jindo Police Station, said, “We will do our best in preventive activities for elderly traffic safety and the establishment of a safe traffic culture, including for sabali and two-wheeled vehicles,” adding, “We will make Jindo County a place where no fatal traffic accidents involving the elderly occur.”
