Lutronic Receives 'Mid-sized Enterprise Growth Tower' Award on Mid-sized Entrepreneurs Day

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Lutronic announced on the 7th that it received the 'Mid-sized Enterprise Growth Tower' award at the '8th Mid-sized Entrepreneurs Day' held at The Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Mid-sized Entrepreneurs Day, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises, is the largest annual event in the mid-sized enterprise sector held since 2015 to widely promote the achievements of mid-sized companies that have contributed to economic and industrial development.
The 'Mid-sized Enterprise Growth Tower' awarded to Lutronic this time is given to outstanding companies that have grown from small and medium-sized enterprises to mid-sized enterprises through continuous innovation. This year, mid-sized companies that have focused on spreading entrepreneurial spirit, technological innovation, and securing new growth engines to enhance competitiveness in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution were actively discovered.
Founded in 1997, Lutronic, a beauty medical device company, was promoted to a mid-sized enterprise in April this year. Last year, it achieved record-high performance with consolidated sales of 173.6 billion KRW and operating profit of 29.8 billion KRW. It exports products to over 80 countries worldwide, with 83% of last year's sales coming from overseas.
Based on laser medical devices, the company produces products utilizing various energy sources such as RF and LED. Its representative products include Derma V, Hollywood Spectra, Clarity II, and Ultra.
