Garden Expo Organizing Committee and Korea Travel Association Sign Business Agreement
Joint Efforts for the Successful Hosting of the Garden Expo and Mutual Cooperation -
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seonsik] The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Noh Gwan-gyu) and the Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA) (President Oh Chang-hee) signed a business agreement on mutual cooperation and joint development for the successful hosting of the Garden Expo on the 4th at the small conference room of Suncheon City Hall.
The business agreement was held with the attendance of Chairman Noh Gwan-gyu of the Expo Organizing Committee and President Oh Chang-hee of KATA, along with other executives.
The two organizations agreed to closely cooperate on ▲ developing tourism products linked to the 2023 Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo ▲ mutual cooperation and support for joint marketing ▲ collaborative projects and joint development.
Oh Chang-hee, President of the Korea Association of Travel Agents, said, “Taking the 2023 Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo as an opportunity, we will revitalize the stagnant travel industry, develop various tourism products, and continuously cooperate with Suncheon City for joint marketing so that more visitors can come to the expo venue.”
Noh Gwan-gyu, Chairman of the Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Organizing Committee, emphasized, “The Garden Expo is not just a festival venue but a huge content that presents a model for future cities, such as responding to climate change and realizing carbon neutrality, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.” He added, “We will spare no effort for the successful hosting of the Garden Expo and joint development together with the Korea Association of Travel Agents.”
Meanwhile, the Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA) is the largest travel industry organization in Korea, with over 2,000 travel agencies and institutions registered under the Tourism Promotion Act as members, striving to improve travel services, create value, and promote tourism.
