[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Logiol announced on the 2nd that CEO Chae Heon-jin received a commendation from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport at the '30th Logistics Day Ceremony.' Logiol also received a certification as a small parcel delivery agency service provider.
At the awards ceremony held on the 1st, 49 individuals and 14 organizations who contributed to the development of the logistics industry were honored. Additionally, in accordance with the 'Living Logistics Service Industry Development Act,' which was enacted for the first time last year, a total of eight small parcel delivery agency service providers, including Logiol, received certification.
CEO Chae Heon-jin was recognized for his contributions to leading the digitalization of the domestic last-mile delivery brokerage market since his time at Insung Data in the mid-2000s and for establishing the foundation of current delivery agency platform services, earning him the ministerial commendation.
CEO Chae said, "I intend to introduce next-generation delivery services by leveraging over 20 years of accumulated experience and insights into logistics," adding, "I hope you will watch our progress as we aim to establish a win-win structure where stakeholders in the industry benefit in a virtuous cycle and leap forward as an 'Integrated Logistics Platform.'"

Since CEO Chae Heon-jin's appointment in October last year, Logiol has continued various efforts to improve the treatment of delivery platform workers, such as launching rider loan products in partnership with Shinhan Bank and Welcome Savings Bank, and developing hourly rider insurance with DB Insurance and Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance. Furthermore, the company is actively working to improve the small parcel delivery service system by introducing ultra-small electric vehicles and electric bicycles for delivery and signing a business agreement with Bear Robotics, a specialist in autonomous robots.
