View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Marriott International announced on the 2nd that it will donate all proceeds from the charity running event 'Road to Give 2022' to Holt Children's Services.
Held annually since 2014, Road to Give is an event where hotel employees from across the Asia-Pacific region participate in a running race and donate the entry fees collected.
The event, held on the 29th of last month at Central Park in Songdo, Incheon, featured various programs including a 4km run and walk course, a photo contest, and a lucky draw. This year, about 240 employees participated, raising approximately 3 million KRW.
The event was held in collaboration with Holt Children's Services and involved a total of 17 Marriott-affiliated hotels in Korea, including Aloft Seoul Myeongdong and Courtyard by Marriott Sejong.

Nam Gi-deok, the head of Marriott International Korea and the Philippines, said, "We are pleased to successfully conclude the Road to Give event, held for the first time since COVID-19." He added, "Marriott International is committed to expanding social impact and sustainable development in 138 countries and regions worldwide, and we will continue to make greater efforts to contribute to local communities."
