BNK Busan Bank Participates in ‘BWB 2022’ … Operates Digital Asset Financial Services Experience and Exhibition Hall
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] BNK Busan Bank will operate an exhibition experience center in partnership with blockchain technology specialist Medium at the ‘BWB (Blockchain Week in Busan) 2022’ event held at BEXCO, Busan from the 27th to the 29th.
‘BWB 2022’ is an event held to emphasize Busan’s role as a global blockchain city and to revitalize the K-blockchain industry ecosystem. The three major global digital asset exchanges Binance, FTX, and Huobi are participating.
Busan Bank and Medium have set the exhibition experience center theme as ‘Into the Metaverse’ and will provide realistic exhibitions and experiences in the metaverse space divided into three themes: ▲Metaverse Banking ▲Metaverse Entertainment ▲Metaverse Life.
The two organizations signed a business agreement last February to build digital banking services within the metaverse platform and are collaborating to secure new growth engines by developing metaverse banking services equipped with various digital financial services.
Kim Sang-hwan, Head of Digital New Business Team at Busan Bank, said, “At the event, we plan to experiment with digital asset financial services applicable in the metaverse and showcase various digital asset-related services such as distribution, storage, and payment. Going forward, Busan Bank will continue to discover various new businesses and take the lead as a bank pioneering digital financial services.”
