Sanggaekdaero Operator 'Logiol' Obtains Small Cargo Certification... "Providing Safe and Convenient Service"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Logiol, the operator of the delivery agency brand 'Saenggakdaero,' announced on the 24th that it has obtained the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 'Small Parcel Delivery Agency Service Provider Certification (Small Parcel Certification).'
Logiol was absorbed and merged into its parent company Inseong Data in May and completed a spin-off on August 31. Subsequently, after restructuring its governance in September, Logiol participated in the certification review. Acquiring the Small Parcel Certification is evaluated as securing competitiveness as an excellent company within the delivery agency industry.
The Small Parcel Certification system is a program introduced last year under the 'Living Logistics Service Industry Development Act' and is being implemented for the first time this year. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport comprehensively assesses delivery service providers based on △ workforce and information communication network operating systems △ stability and reliability of quality management systems △ business operation systems and worker safety management △ stable and sustainable financial and management capabilities to select certified companies.
As a certified business operator, Logiol will receive priority in administrative and financial support, enjoying benefits such as expansion and improvement of facilities and equipment related to small parcel delivery, improvement of worker treatment, consulting, and education.
Kim Seong-yul, Deputy Head of Logiol's Corporate Culture Team, stated, "Starting with this Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport certification, Saenggakdaero will present a new direction to ensure safe and convenient service use for all stakeholders including riders, consumers, self-employed individuals, and local businesses."
