Ulsan Office of Education Conducts Inspection of COVID-19 Prevention and Management Measures at CSAT Test Sites
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct on-site inspections of 27 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) exam schools ahead of the 2023 academic year CSAT scheduled for November 17.
The inspections will be carried out from the 24th to the 31st of this month, targeting 27 exam schools to check the exam site installation and operation manuals, broadcasting facility operations, and quarantine measures.
The Ulsan Office of Education plans to thoroughly check for any issues that may arise due to insufficient preparation of the CSAT exam sites in advance, supplement any shortcomings, and prioritize safety during the exam.
Ten officials from the Office of Education and one official from the Ministry of Education will participate in the exam site inspections. After the inspections are completed, a final training session on exam site installation and operation will be held on November 3 for vice principals and academic affairs directors of the CSAT exam schools.
The CSAT exam sites in the Ulsan area will operate with 26 general exam sites, one separate exam site, and two hospital exam sites.
All general exam sites will have separate rooms for symptomatic test-takers on the exam day. A separate exam site will be operated for students under home quarantine due to COVID-19, and hospital exam sites will be operated for students receiving inpatient treatment for COVID-19.
All exam sites will be disinfected once before and after the CSAT. On the exam day, KF94 masks will be distributed five per person to all test-takers and supervisors. Other quarantine supplies will be purchased and stocked at the exam sites by November 9.
During lunchtime on the exam day, all test-takers must eat without conversation, and three-sided paper partitions will be installed on desks to prevent infection spread through droplets.
