23,673 New COVID-19 Cases Nationwide by 9 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] As the decline in the resurgence of COVID-19 has stalled, 20,000-level confirmed cases were reported nationwide by 9 PM on the 20th.
According to Seoul Metropolitan Government and other local governments, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases nationwide from 12 AM to 9 PM on this day was counted at 23,673.
This is 1,081 fewer than the count at the same time the previous day (24,754), but 1,050 more than a week ago on the 13th (22,623), and 2,401 more than two weeks ago on the 6th (21,272).
By 9 PM on this day, 13,701 cases (57.9%) were reported in the metropolitan area, and 9,972 cases (42.1%) in non-metropolitan areas.
