Various Attractions and Learning Opportunities to Comfort Tired Daily Life! ... Gijang-gun Hosts 'Gijang-gun Lifelong Learning Expo'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun will hold the ‘2022 Gijang-gun Lifelong Learning Expo’ for two days on the 22nd and 23rd, hosted by Dong-Eui University and Carat Global, at the Central Park area in Jeonggwan-eup.
The expo is organized under the theme ‘Recovering Everyday Life through Lifelong Learning’ and features various activities such as promotional and experience booths and exhibitions of works.
At the promotional and experience booths, visitors can directly try out various lifelong learning programs offered by the Gijang-gun Citizen Language School and Gijang-gun Citizen University.
The experience booths offer seven programs including ‘Halloween Cookie Making,’ ‘Making Household Crafts,’ ‘Making Ornamental Sprout Ginseng Flowerpots,’ and ‘Drone Experience.’ Those wishing to participate can register on-site in advance to join the activities.
At the exhibition booths, visitors can watch ‘Virtual Language Travel’ videos created by students of the Gijang-gun Citizen Language School’s ‘YouTube Video Production’ course, featuring famous spots in Gijang such as Jukseong Cathedral and Jangan Temple, filmed and introduced in foreign languages.
In addition to ‘Virtual Language Travel,’ various works learned and created by students of Gijang-gun Citizen University, including watercolor paintings, royal court color paintings, and calligraphy, are also on display.

A Gijang-gun official stated, “We have prepared this event to comfort and help recover the daily lives of residents exhausted by COVID-19 by presenting various attractions and learning opportunities,” and added, “We hope many residents interested in lifelong learning will participate.”
