Dongui University Selects 7 Teams for 'Student Startup Promising Teams 300 Competition'
Seven teams from Dong-Eui University, selected for the '2022 Student Promising Startup Teams 300,' are taking a group commemorative photo after receiving certificates from the Minister of Education.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Seven teams of students from Dong-Eui University were finally selected for the ‘2022 Student Promising Startup Teams 300’ hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The Dong-Eui University LINC3.0 Project Group held the ‘2022 Student Promising Startup Teams 300 Ministry of Education Certificate Award Ceremony’ on October 19th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building, presenting Ministry of Education certificates to the seven selected teams, including five teams in the Growth Track and two teams in the Education Track.
The ‘Student Promising Startup Teams 300’ is a competition organized by the National Research Foundation of Korea, the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation to discover and nurture talent in the startup field.
The competition selects a total of 300 teams across the Leap Track, Growth Track, and Education Track, providing customized education for basic startup and business advancement. This year, 46 teams in the Leap Track, 189 teams in the Growth Track, and 48 teams in the Education Track were finally selected from universities and high schools nationwide.
At Dong-Eui University, the following teams were selected in the Growth Track: ▲ CAHLP team’s ‘Smart IoT Management Kit for Exotic Pet Rearing,’ ▲ M-PLACE team’s ‘Experience-Centered S/W Education Platform (EDU Village) Using Physical Computing,’ ▲ Unique Invention team from the Department of Chemical Engineering’s ‘Eco-friendly Pesticide Using Caffeine,’ ▲ Ttakgeum Ttakgeum team from the Department of Electronic Engineering’s ‘Smart Cart’ item, and ▲ Mondays team from the Department of Computer Software Engineering’s ‘Rutina’ item.
In the Education Track, the following were selected: ▲ DEACOSL team from the Department of Applied Chemistry’s ‘Development of Internal Display Materials Using Organic Compounds,’ and ▲ insight team’s ‘Smoking Detector in Outdoor Non-Smoking Areas’ item.
