Chairman Kim said, “The establishment of the Aerospace Agency and the construction of the aerospace cluster are opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of our country's space and aviation industry and to reduce the gap with the global market.” He added, “Our provincial council has also adopted a government petition for the establishment of the Aerospace Agency, uniting the voices of Gyeongnam's political circles, and is continuously petitioning the central government ministries. Each council member acts as a local diplomat, persuading members of the National Assembly and the government.”
