[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] On the 17th at around 3:15 PM, an incident occurred in an apartment in Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, where a man in his 20s assaulted a woman in her 40s with a blunt weapon.
According to Changwon Jungbu Police Station on the 18th, the man confirmed that the victim's front door was not properly locked, broke into the house, and repeatedly struck the woman's face and other areas with the weapon he brought.
The suspect surrendered to the police at around 3:40 PM immediately after the crime.
The woman sustained injuries to her face and underwent suturing surgery, but it is reported that her life is not in danger.
