Masan Jeil High School Wins 4th Place Nationwide in Youth 119 Safety News Contest
At the 15th Youth 119 Safety News Contest, the team from Masan Fire Station, Masan Jeil High School, won 4th place nationwide.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the 17th, the Masan Fire Station in Gyeongnam announced that the Masan Jeil High School team, participating from Masan Fire Station, won 4th place nationwide (Bronze Prize) after the competition in the 15th Youth 119 Safety News Contest hosted by the National Fire Agency and organized by the Korea Fire Safety Institute.
The Youth 119 Safety News Video Contest has been held annually since 2007 to raise awareness of safety issues among youth and to spread a culture of safety.
This year, 36 teams from across the country participated, and the safety news video titled "Accident Due to Carelessness with Gas Stove," produced by student Heo and six others from Masan Jeil High School team of Masan Fire Station, won 4th place nationwide, receiving the Korea Fire Safety Institute Award along with a prize of 500,000 KRW.
