Your Dream, Catch the Job! ... Busan Office of Education Develops Nation's First Vocational High School Promotion Metaverse Platform
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education recently developed and launched 'Kkumjapgo (JOB GO)', a promotional metaverse platform that compiles all information about vocational high schools nationwide for the first time.
The Busan Office of Education developed the platform to allow anyone to easily obtain information related to vocational high schools and to increase interest and understanding of vocational high schools.
In line with the metaverse era, the platform enables users to easily and enjoyably access various information and distinctive promotional materials of 37 vocational high schools in the district, as well as Busan's vocational education policies anytime and anywhere.
The platform consists of five maps: ▲Intro Map ▲Subway Concept Map ▲World Map ▲Individual School Interior Maps ▲Office of Education Map.
The 'Intro Map' contains an overview of vocational high schools and promotional materials, while the 'Subway Concept Map' guides users by categorizing vocational high schools according to departments and aptitudes.
On the 'World Map', users can see the locations of 37 vocational high schools and the Office of Education at a glance on the Busan map. The 'Individual School Interior Maps' include information on practice room VR, promotional videos, department introductions, and freshman recruitment, while the 'Office of Education Map' contains materials on vocational education policies.
The Busan Office of Education plans to increase the platform's utilization by using it as a real-time communication venue with students during vocational education fairs in the future.
