Professor Park Jong-min of Kyung Hee University Elected as the 50th President of the Korean Association for Journalism Studies
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Park Jong-min, a professor in the Department of Media Studies at Kyung Hee University, has been elected as the 50th president of the Korean Association for Journalism and Communication Studies.
President-elect Park graduated from Korea University with a major in German Language and Literature and a minor in Journalism and Broadcasting. He earned his master's degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from the same university and obtained his master's and doctoral degrees in Communication from the University of Missouri in the United States. After serving as a professor in the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting at Pusan National University, he has been a professor at Kyung Hee University since 2002.

He has served as president of the Korean Advertising and Public Relations Association, director of the Independence Hall of Korea, and director of the Social Science Research Institute at Kyung Hee University. Currently, he is a member of the Integrity Ombudsman Committee of the Korea Communications Commission and a member of the Reader Committee of the Korea Economic Daily.
