Recruitment of Participants for Festival Opening Parade Until the 24th
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do, is recruiting participants for the opening parade of the 2nd Muan YD Festival, which will be held from the 28th to the 30th, until the 24th.
The opening parade will take place at 5 p.m. on the 28th, starting from Tteotbat Mart Namak Branch, proceeding along Namak 3-ro, Central Park, Kim Dae-jung Square, and arriving at the main stage.
Anyone, whether individuals or groups, who wish to participate in the parade can apply. The recruitment target is about 300 people, with around 150 already registered.
Participants can express their individuality using various props regardless of genre, and since the festival period coincides with Halloween week, diverse performances are expected.
Parade participants will be credited with 2 hours of volunteer service and will also receive commemorative participation gifts.
Additionally, the county plans to support parade production materials only for group teams of 20 or more members.
Those who wish to participate can download the application form from the county website's public notice section, fill it out, and submit it via email or fax.
County Governor Kim San said, “We hope for active applications from residents to help create the Muan YD Festival, held for the first time in three years,” and added, “The opening parade, staged for the first time this year, is expected to make the festival atmosphere brighter and more lively.”
