Professor Na Heeryang of Pukyong National University Selected for Sejong Book with 'Understanding WTO Trade Disputes'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Professor Na Heeryang of Pukyong National University’s book, "Understanding WTO Trade Disputes: Focusing on the Dispute Settlement System," has been selected for the "2022 Sejong Books" in the academic category.
The Sejong Books project is an initiative by the Korea Publication Culture Industry Promotion Agency to encourage publishers' commitment to producing quality books and to promote the development of the public reading culture and the creation of a knowledge-based society by selecting outstanding books annually in the general and academic categories.
This year, a total of 2,427 titles were submitted across 10 fields in the academic category of Sejong Books, of which 400 titles were selected as excellent books.
Professor Na’s book is a specialized work written by an expert in international trade and international regional economics to provide a concrete and practical understanding of the WTO dispute settlement system and to assist in its appropriate application.
The book is composed of a total of 4 parts and 15 chapters: Part 1 provides an overview of the WTO dispute settlement system; Part 2 offers various considerations on the WTO dispute settlement system; Part 3 covers the legal basis, effectiveness, and issues of the WTO dispute settlement system; and Part 4 includes supplementary discussions related to the WTO dispute settlement system.
