Kim Hee-gon, a member of the People Power Party, said, "I am from the same hometown as Chairperson Jeon and we are close," adding, "I also served on the Political Affairs Committee during the first half of the 21st National Assembly, so I remember that Chairperson Jeon said she would resign when the government changed and even gave a farewell speech. I am curious why she suddenly changed her stance," urging Chairperson Jeon to clarify her position.
Choi Seung-jae, also from the People Power Party, pointed out that the ACRC refused to provide a legal interpretation related to the killing of public officials in the West Sea incident, stating, "This is not an ACRC for the people but one that suits their tastes, which could be controversial," and argued, "At the very least, they should express regret and apologize."
Song Seok-jun, another People Power Party member, criticized, "Since Chairperson Jeon took office, the implementation rate of institutional improvement recommendations dropped from 87% to 28%. This shows a lack of capability," and launched an offensive, saying, "Is the ACRC, which fails to communicate with the President and Cabinet members, being used as Jeon Hyun-hee's ACRC?"
The Democratic Party countered the Board of Audit and Inspection's audit of the ACRC as a "witch hunt against Jeon Hyun-hee."
Oh Ki-hyung of the Democratic Party pointed out, "The audit of the ACRC itself has been ongoing for seven weeks since June and July, which is unusual and seems like an 'Indian climate-style' audit," adding, "A special audit was conducted but later changed to a performance audit, and there were various discussions about lunches and attendance, which is peculiar."
He continued, "There were all sorts of attempts to oust Jeon Hyun-hee over seven weeks without any written investigation of her," and claimed, "The relationship between the Presidential Secretariat and the Board of Audit and Inspection is close."

Hwang Un-ha also said, "This is a targeted audit to force Chairperson Jeon to resign," and criticized, "The Board of Audit and Inspection is taking the lead, and Secretary-General Yoo Byung-ho has newly appeared as the regime's hunting dog. It reminds me of Cha Ji-chul during the Park Chung-hee regime."
