Kyobo Bookstore＋Hottracks to Provide Integrated Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Kyobo Bookstore has launched an integrated brand shopping mall. While integrating the previously separately operated Kyobo Bookstore and Hottracks websites, various changes were made to enhance user convenience. This is part of the digital transformation efforts following the 'Knowledge and (Art) Culture Content Partner' Vision 2025 announced on June 29.
According to Kyobo Bookstore, the integrated shopping mall combines different services such as Kyobo Bookstore, eBook, sam, and Hottracks. Users can navigate to these services via the top tab area or access diverse information through search. As more products have been added to Kyobo Bookstore, the search filter functions have been strengthened.
The book page layout has been changed by moving the book image from the left to the center. Detailed book information is placed on the left, and shopping information is on the right.
Changes have also been made to the existing Kyobo Bookstore bestseller search function. Users can search bestsellers in real-time, by store, or by humanities category under various conditions. The star rating review system called 'Clover Review' is now applied not only to books but also to products.
The previously text and image-based 'Book News' and 'Book Cast' services now include video content. Publishers can upload video content directly and create streaming paid products for sale. Live commerce services will also be provided in the future.
At the payment stage, the process has been simplified so that various points can be entered during the order and payment steps without prior input.
