Neowiz Signs Publishing Agreement with Netflix for Mobile Game 'Goyang-i wa Seupeu'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Neowiz announced on the 11th that it has signed a publishing contract for the mobile game "Goyang-i wa Seupeu" (Cat and Soup) with the global streaming service Netflix. With this, Goyang-i wa Seupeu became the first Korean game available on Netflix.
Developed by Neowiz's subsidiary HiDeer, Goyang-i wa Seupeu is a healing mobile idle game that surpassed 27 million cumulative downloads within one year of its release.
The game’s launch on Netflix is scheduled for November. It will offer a differentiated service by removing in-game advertisements and in-app purchases. Neowiz will handle game updates, maintenance, and support, while Netflix will be responsible for global publishing.
