358 Consultations... Amount Approximately 53 Million USD
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 11th that they successfully held the 'K-Content Expo in Spain' at the Novotel Madrid Center in Spain for four days starting from the 4th. This export consultation event opens overseas market channels for domestic content companies in broadcasting, games, animation, characters, and more. This year marks the second time the event has been held, following the one in Singapore last July.
Thirty-one domestic content companies participated, including CJ ENM, Aurora World, and Haksan Publishing. They held export consultations with fifty European buyers from Spain, France, the UK, Germany, and other countries both online and offline. The Korea Creative Content Agency energized the event with content pitching, a seminar on European content trends, and workshops visiting local content companies.

A total of 358 one-on-one consultations were conducted. The estimated consultation amount is approximately 53 million USD. Three business agreements were also signed, and various contents are expected to be introduced to Europe. Ji Gyeonghwa, head of the Overseas Business Support Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "We were able to widely promote K-content in several European countries," adding, "We will continue to prepare high-quality programs to support domestic companies' exports."
