View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Former People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok expressed on the 6th that he will "walk a lonelier path from now on" after his provisional injunction application filed with the court was dismissed and rejected.
On the same day, Lee stated through his Facebook, "I am grateful to Chief Judge Hwang Jeong-su and the Civil Division 51 of the Seoul Southern District Court, who have handled provisional injunction trials related to political parties, which are rarely precedent and involve complex interests."
He continued, "Although I sometimes felt empty wondering what I was fighting for after winning two elections so far, I have faced the consolidated power with a sense of mission."
He also said, "I have fought alone with principled and excellent lawyers, and I will continue to walk my path more lonely and solitary in the future."
The Civil Division 51 of the Seoul Southern District Court (Chief Judge Hwang Jeong-su) dismissed or rejected all of Lee’s 3rd to 5th provisional injunction applications filed against the 'Jeong Jin-seok Emergency Response Committee' on the same day.
Regarding this, People Power Party lawmaker Heo Eun-ah emphasized on Facebook, "First of all, we respect the court's decision, and now we must urgently focus our efforts on normalizing the party and addressing the people's livelihood," adding, "However, today's court decision should not be used as a pretext for a witch-hunt style additional disciplinary action against Lee Jun-seok."
