On the 6th, Chief Judge Kang Moon-hee of the Seosan Branch of Daejeon District Court issued an arrest warrant for Mr. A, citing "risk of flight."
Mr. A appeared at the pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant hearing) around 11 a.m. that day, wearing slippers, a black hat, and a top, but did not respond to questions about the motive for the crime or reasons for refusing police investigation.
When asked if he had planned the crime in advance, he replied, "No." When asked if he had anything to say to the victim and the children, he briefly said, "I'm sorry."
Mr. A is accused of stabbing his wife, Ms. B, in her 40s, with a knife he had hidden in a bag, causing her death on a street in Dongmun-dong, Seosan-si, Chungnam Province, at 3:16 p.m. on the 4th.

Subsequently, the police booked him on charges of special injury and, with court approval, prohibited him from approaching or contacting his wife within 100 meters. Ms. B was also provided with a smartwatch.
