Gyeongbuk TP held the 'Gyeongbuk Regional Innovation Cluster Support Project (Non-R&D) International Trade Representative Office Meeting' with Hanyang University ERICA Global Innovation Cluster Center on the 29th at the Rosenia Hotel in Gimcheon.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gyeongbuk Technopark held the ‘Gyeongbuk Regional Innovation Cluster Support Project (Non R&D) International Trade Representative Meeting’ on the 29th at the Rosenia Hotel in Gimcheon, together with Hanyang University ERICA Global Innovation Cluster Center.
This meeting was organized to explain the current status of EV (Electric Vehicle), related programs, and technology cooperation cases of international trade representatives from various countries, and to hear their opinions, aiming at future car companies located in the Gyeongbuk National Innovation Convergence Complex for technology exchange and cooperation with advanced future car countries.
The meeting began with the global linkage achievements and strategic plans of the 1.5 phase (2021?2022) of the Gyeongbuk Regional Innovation Cluster, followed by presentations from ▲Kang Jeong-hyun, Senior Commercial Officer of the Israel International Trade Representative Office in Korea (Israel EV industry status and Korea-Israel cooperation status) ▲Lionel Orens, Counselor of the Belgium International Trade Representative Office in Korea (Belgium e-mobility technology club) ▲Kim Young-jin, Commercial Officer of the Canada International Trade Representative Office in Korea (Current status of the Canadian automobile industry centered on EV), covering each country’s electric vehicle transition policies, support programs, cooperation cases with Korean companies, and a Q&A session with Gyeongbuk companies.
The Gyeongbuk National Innovation Convergence Complex Promotion Team expects to achieve promotion of the Gyeongbuk future mobility industry and build a global network through next year’s program plans with the Israel Foundation, the British Embassy in Korea, and Singapore research institutions via this meeting.
Through exchanges with international trade representatives from advanced future car countries, it plans to lay the groundwork for overseas market entry and new client discovery for companies residing in the Gyeongbuk National Innovation Convergence Complex.
At the seminar, companies participating in this year’s Gyeongbuk Regional Innovation Cluster Support Project (Non R&D), including Ajou Steel, Samjin Precision, Jahwa Electronics, and Taedong Tech, attended and showcased their excellent technological capabilities through presentations on technology, overseas expansion, and technology exchange plans.
