'World Heritage Festival' Held at Suwon Hwaseong Area Until the 22nd
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The World Heritage Festival Suwon Hwaseong event will be held in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
Suwon City announced on the 4th that it will hold the World Heritage Festival under the theme "The Uigwe is Alive: Enjoy Suwon Hwaseong" at the Suwon Hwaseong area until the 22nd of this month.
Hosted by the Cultural Heritage Administration and Suwon City, this event is designed as a program to promote the value of Suwon Hwaseong by utilizing Suwon Hwaseong and the Uigwe (儀軌), a documentary heritage.
The main events include ▲ citizen participation programs (World Heritage Academy, People of Seongan) ▲ Suwon Hwaseong commentary and tour programs (Pieces of Suwon Hwaseong Memories, Walking the Night of Suwon Hwaseong, Ssedam Ssedam Suwon Hwaseong) ▲ AR (Augmented Reality) mission tours (Secrets of Suwon Hwaseong, Heirs of Suwon Hwaseong) ▲ educational and experience programs (Fortification Playground, A Cup of Uigwe), etc.
The event will conclude with the closing performance "Fortification, Festival of Harmony - Building the Fortress Within 3 Years" held at Haenggung Square at 8:30 PM on the 22nd.
