40-Year-Old Man Caught Stealing Shoes from Elementary School Out of Curiosity
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] A man in his 40s who sneaked into an elementary school in Busan and stole shoes was caught by the police.
According to the Dongbu Police Station in Busan on the 28th, at around 11:40 a.m. on the 26th, they received a report that a suspicious person was loitering in the hallway of an elementary school located in Dong-gu and dispatched officers.
The police who responded to the report found Mr. A near the elementary school at around 4:40 p.m. and made an emergency arrest.
Mr. A stole a total of nine pairs of shoes from the shoe rack on the 3rd floor of the elementary school main building, including three pairs of adult shoes and six pairs of student shoes.
In his initial statement, Mr. A said, "I stole the shoes out of curiosity."
