The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 27th that it will resume charter flights on the Osaka-Jeju route for a 2-night, 3-day schedule from the 29th of this month to the 1st of next month.
This operation was made possible through the joint efforts of the Korea Tourism Organization, Jeju Tourism Organization, and T'way Air. A total of 189 passengers are on the charter flight, including 118 influencers who will visit Korea for promotional activities. These 118 influencers are actively engaged on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. Their combined social media (SNS) followers exceed 10 million.
Among them is Shiroma Miru, a former member of a Japanese idol group and a participant in the Korea-Japan joint audition program "Produce 48," drawing attention.
Shiroma Miru said, "I joined this trip hoping to introduce the charms of Korea that I love to Japanese people, so that many will like Korea and deepen the friendship between Korea and Japan. I learned about Jeju Island through K-pop music videos and dramas and always wanted to visit, so my wish has come true. I will work hard to promote Jeju's tourism attractions."
Major media outlets such as Yomiuri and Asahi Shimbun, as well as travel agencies like HIS and Hankyu Transportation, are also participating in the schedule to cover Jeju's attractive tourism content and develop products.

With an unprecedented large-scale visit by influencers, we plan to utilize viral marketing related to Korean tourism to create local buzz."
