KB Kookmin Bank "Register Palm Instead of ID Card for Airport Check-in"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 26th that it will implement the 'KB Bio-Authentication Airport Linkage' service, which allows domestic flight check-in without an ID card.
The KB Bio-Authentication Airport Linkage service enables easy check-in by entering a mobile phone number and using bio-authentication without an ID card, utilizing biometric information (palm vein) registered with KB Kookmin Bank.

Biometric information is an authentication method that uses the unique vascular characteristics under the palm epidermis of each person, providing high accuracy and security.
KB Kookmin Bank also offers services that allow transactions such as bank account reporting and withdrawals at counters and automated machines without ID cards, passbooks, or cards by using biometric information.
