Gyeonggi-do Open Civil Service Office Provides CPR Training for Emergency Situations of Civil Petitioners
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid training for all staff at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Open Civil Service Office on the 23rd.
This training was organized to enable civil servants at the Open Civil Service Office, who interact most frequently with civil petitioners, to respond quickly when petitioners face emergency situations.
The training involved about 30 Open Civil Service Office employees and covered theoretical education on ▲ the importance of the golden time for emergency patients ▲ quick response methods during emergencies ▲ correct CPR techniques ▲ use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) ▲ the Heimlich maneuver, followed by practical training using mannequins and AEDs.

Kim Chun-gi, head of the Open Civil Service Office, said, "The Open Civil Service Office is essentially the gateway to civil administration at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, so it is important to be able to respond quickly to various situations," adding, "We will continue to conduct CPR training to strengthen on-site response capabilities for emergency preparedness."
