View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 23rd that it held the ‘2022 Jeonnam Student Sports and Culture Festival’ with about 85,000 members of the educational community participating at Jangheung Public Stadium and other locations in Jangheung-gun.
The event took place from the 22nd to the 24th and was organized as a student participatory festival where culture and sports harmonize and unite, focusing less on winning or losing the games.
The Office of Education planned this festival so that students can develop proper character, creativity, and leadership through diverse cultural experiences and healthy sports activities.
In particular, various cultural and sports experience events open to all students, various performances, and the 16th Superintendent’s Cup School Sports Club Competition were held together.
The ‘Superintendent’s Cup School Sports Club Competition’ is conducted as an inter-school competition with representative teams selected through competitions by each Education Support Office and weekend leagues by sport, and the winning team earns the right to participate in the 15th National School Sports Club Competition.
