Seoul Auction Gangnam Center Hosts Seminar and Auction Artwork Tours in Three Sessions
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced on the 23rd that it held a 'Private Top Class' art seminar in collaboration with Seoul Auction at the Seoul Auction Gangnam Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from the 15th to the 21st.
The art seminar was held over three sessions, inviting IBK’s top customers and CEOs of client companies who applied in advance through branches. Kim Hyun-hee, Senior Auctioneer at Seoul Auction, explained from the customers' perspective the current situation of increased demand for artworks after COVID-19 and the changing art market that allows convenient art purchases.

After the lecture, a preview exhibition tour of the artworks to be auctioned at the Seoul Auction Busan auction scheduled for September 27 was conducted for the attending customers. An IBK official stated, "The seminar covered highly interesting topics such as the current booming art market after COVID-19 and methods of investing in artworks, resulting in high customer satisfaction." He added, "On the 29th, a Private Top Class cultural seminar will be held where customers can directly experience cultural activities such as painting classes and herb gardening, so we ask for your great interest."
