Sinan-gun 'Island Mandragora Festival' Held
Byungpungdo Immersed in the Scent of Autumn and Fiery Love
[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] The island within an island, Byeongpungdo, known as '1004 Islands Sinan where flowers bloom all year round' and 'Garden of flowers on the sea Sinan,' is being vividly colored with cockscomb flowers.
Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, will hold the 'Island Cockscomb Festival' from the 1st to the 10th of next month, when the cockscomb flowers are at their most beautiful.
Byeongpungdo Cockscomb Park is established as the world's largest cockscomb flower field, spanning 11 hectares, where visitors can see various colorful cockscombs, from the familiar rooster comb shape seen in childhood to candle shapes and fox tail shapes.
Additionally, unique events such as 'Red Kite Flying Healing in the Wind,' a Pilgrim's Island and Cockscomb Photo Exhibition, and 'Find the Red Dress Code' will be held. Tourists participating in the 'Find the Red Dress Code' event will receive souvenirs.
