"Startup Ecosystem Revitalization" HiteJinro Holds 'H Triangle' Contest
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] HiteJinro announced on the 19th that it will start an idea contest to revitalize the startup ecosystem.
HiteJinro and Home&Shopping are accepting applications for the 'H Triangle with Startups' contest until the 21st of next month to support the growth of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with excellent technology and business models.
The contest will select the final winners on November 18th through a first-round document screening and a second-round presentation evaluation in two categories: 'Outstanding Idea Products and Services' and '1 Billion KRW Equity Investment.'
Any startup or SME with innovative ideas and technologies can apply. There are no restrictions on contest fields or eligibility. Applications can be submitted via email with the required documents, including the idea proposal.
Companies selected for the Outstanding Idea Products and Services category will receive prize money and opportunities such as licensing product development using HiteJinro's representative character 'Dukkeobi,' broadcasting opportunities on Home&Shopping, and support for live commerce sales.

Startups selected in the equity investment category will receive a total of 1 billion KRW in equity investment and an opportunity for a TIPS recommendation to receive government research and development (R&D) support funds.
