The '2022 Global Wine and Food Trip,' held over two days from the 16th to the 17th at the Floating Island on Sebitseom in Seocho-gu, Seoul, concluded successfully with around 2,400 visitors. The Global Wine and Food Trip was held for the first time this year to reflect the recently heightened interest in wine among domestic consumers, providing a venue where both wine beginners and enthusiasts could be introduced to and experience a variety of wines and drinking cultures.
The event featured major domestic wine importers such as Shinsegae L&B, Lotte Chilsung Beverage, Inter Liquor, Dongwon Wine Plus, Vino H, Vinaroma, Vino Paradise, Allvin Wine, Casa de Mendoza, Sompic Wine, and 264 Green Grape Wine, showcasing wines from various regions.
Jung Choong-gu, Customer Support Team Leader at Shinsegae L&B, said, "Since eco-friendly vegan wine is a trend, visitors showed interest in various related products," adding, "Because it was an outdoor event, sparkling wines with refreshing qualities and white varieties like Chardonnay were in high demand."
