BBQ Strengthens HMR Competitiveness by Partnering with Heodak
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 16th that it signed an MOU for joint development of chicken breast specialty brand Heodak and home meal replacement (HMR) product online promotional marketing cooperation at the company's international conference hall.
Through the agreement, BBQ and Heodak will utilize various brands within Genesis BBQ Group and BBQ's own specialized R&D (Research and Development) center to jointly plan and develop home meal replacements, ready meal replacements (RMR), and meal kits.
BBQ plans to showcase differentiated products through excellent raw materials and the expertise of its specialized R&D center, and strengthen online consumer touchpoints not only through its existing sales channel, BBQ Mall, but also through Heodak and Fresh Easy websites.
The signing ceremony was attended by Genesis BBQ Group's Chairman Yoon Hong-geun, Vice Chairman Yoon Kyung-joo, executives and management, as well as Heodak's CEO Kim Joo-hyung, Vice President Kwon Oh-jun, and Center Director Kang Sung-il.
