Jangseong Police Station Conducts Joint Campaign to Prevent School Violence
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] The Jangseong Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Im Jihwan) announced on the 15th that it recently conducted a 'Joint Campaign for School Violence Prevention' targeting students on their way to school at Jangseong Jungang Elementary School.
About 20 people participated in the event, including school police officers, Jangseong Office of Education, faculty members, and student affairs staff.
The school police officers handed out promotional items such as school supplies to students going to school and promoted the dangers of school violence and ways to respond.
A representative of Jungang Elementary School said, "We are grateful that related organizations such as the police and the Office of Education actively participated in the promotion of school violence prevention and respect for life to create a safe school from the morning," and added, "The school will also do its best to ensure that students can attend school in a peaceful atmosphere."
A representative of Jangseong Police Station said, "We will continue to build a close cooperative system with the school to do our best so that students can have a safe and happy school life free from school violence."
