Kakao Pay, First in Fintech Industry to Obtain 'Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Kakao Pay has become the first company in the fintech industry to obtain an international standard related to greenhouse gas emissions.
Kakao Pay announced on the 15th that it received the 'Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification' from the overseas certification body DNV Business Assurance Korea.

Earlier, in May, Kakao Pay established an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Promotion Committee and announced active participation in the 'Active Green Initiative,' a climate crisis response principle promoted at the Kakao Group level as part of its ESG activities.
