Dunamu's 'UDC 2022' Tickets Sold Out One Week Before Event... Anticipating Success
[Asia Economy Reporter Myung-hwan Lee] Dunamu, the operator of the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, announced on the 15th that registration for the blockchain conference 'Upbit Developer Conference (UDC) 2022' has been closed. With tickets sold out, on-site ticket sales scheduled during the UDC 2022 event on the 22nd and 23rd will not be conducted.
UDC 2022 began ticket sales with blind registration starting in May. Initially, Dunamu planned the blind ticket registration period from May 18 to June 16, but all prepared tickets were sold out within one week of opening. Remaining tickets were completely sold out by 12:20 PM on the 14th, about a week before the event.
UDC 2022 will be held over two days, on the 22nd and 23rd, at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center (BPEX). Dunamu expects over 50 domestic and international speakers to take the stage and approximately 3,000 participants to attend.
UDC was held online in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, with social distancing measures eased, it will be held offline for the first time in three years. The theme of UDC 2022 is set as "Imagine your Blockchain Life."
