Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Hosts '2022 Auto Salon Wi' Exhibition
Held at Ilsan KINTEX from the 16th to the 18th
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 15th that the '2022 Auto Salon Week' exhibition will be held for three days from the 16th to the 18th at KINTEX in Ilsan.
This exhibition is the largest domestic automobile aftermarket and tuning specialized exhibition co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
It is an auto business exhibition featuring content that covers the entire automobile industry and mobility lifestyle, with about 180 companies participating and a scale of 1300 booths.
Especially this year, the exhibition will expand hands-on programs such as test drives and competitions, and in line with outdoor leisure and recreational activity trends, it will highlight new consumer perceptions of automobiles and showcase various lifestyles.
Test drive experience events include the 'Lala Classic's' micro racer, the first domestic classic-style ultra-compact electric vehicle, and Prima Motors' 'JEEP WRANGLER 4xe.'
Various competitions are also planned, such as the Korea Tamiya Radio-Controlled Car Competition, Korea Mini Car Race, the National Automobile Maintenance Skills Competition hosted by the Korea Automobile Technicians Association, and the Korea Automobile Tuning Competition hosted by the Korea Automobile Tuner Association.
Additionally, outdoor exhibition areas will host various on-site participation events, including the 2022 KARA Gymkhana School and the 2022 SM Gymkhana Championship.
Following last year, this year will also operate exhibition booths specializing in aftermarket industry products and services such as automobile tuning, electronic parts, accessories, as well as auto bikes and e-mobility, allowing visitors to directly experience tuning cars, luxury cars, and classic cars.
This event will expand and reorganize the camping mobility sector to showcase leisure vehicles and car camping products and camping supplies featuring new performance and ideas, providing various events for visitors to directly purchase and experience new products on-site.
