Neurofit Signs MOU for AI Research Collaboration in Digital Healthcare with Hallym University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Neurophit, a specialized company in AI solutions for brain disease imaging, announced on the 14th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Hallym University.
Through this MOU, Neurophit plans to jointly promote industry-academic collaborative research and technology development related to digital healthcare with Hallym University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, as well as develop industry-academic linked curricula, conduct field training, and offer employment-linked internships.
Neurophit is a specialized company researching and developing brain imaging analysis solutions covering the entire cycle of brain diseases including diagnosis, treatment guidance, and treatment, based on artificial intelligence technology. Utilizing the ‘Neurophit SegEngine,’ which segments brain images at ultra-high speed and precisely analyzes the unique brain structures of individuals, the company is developing multiple brain disease solution products.
Since the inauguration of President Choi Yanghee last year, Hallym University has been promoting specialization in advanced future promising fields such as software (SW), artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and medical-bio convergence. In particular, to lead the medical-bio convergence field, Hallym University’s Leading Research Center for Cerebrovascular Diseases is currently developing an AI digital health platform.
Kang Iljun, head of Hallym University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, “We expect that our university’s Big Data & AI Healthcare Industry Collaboration Center (ICC) and the Leading Research Center for Cerebrovascular Diseases (RLRC) will achieve excellent results in the digital healthcare industry based on this agreement with Neurophit,” adding, “We will actively cooperate for joint research and professional workforce development.”
Bin Jungil, CEO of Neurophit, said, “The biggest topic recently in the medical and healthcare industries is digital healthcare, and the government has begun full-scale support to foster digital healthcare,” adding, “Industry-academic cooperation is important for the development of the digital healthcare industry, along with core technology research and professional workforce training.”
