Tasting at the Autumn Night Wine Festival 'Global Wine and Food Trip'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] From the 16th for two days, the 'Global Wine and Food Trip' held at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul, offers a chance to enjoy a variety of wines from around the world along with perfectly paired foods all in one place. Many renowned domestic wine importers will also participate, showcasing numerous wines.
Dongwon Wine Plus, participating in this event, has prepared unique wines from various regions including the United States, Spain, Italy, Chile, and France. The full-bodied American wine 'Bogle Petit Syrah,' which harmonizes aromas of blueberry and blackberry with floral notes, plum, rhubarb fruit scents, and toasted oak, offers a soft touch on the palate followed by a spicy finish, delivering diverse charms.
The Chilean wine 'Antu Syrah' is made through 100% French oak aging for 14 months and undergoes a 4-day cold fermentation process, resulting in an excellent structure with medium body, smooth tannins, and a long finish that is captivating. It features a dark garnet color and a harmonious blend of ripe rich black fruit aromas, subtle oak, balsamic, dried hay, vanilla, and smoky notes.
'Homesera Bouquet Cava Brut,' a Spanish wine characterized by bright yellow and golden straw hues, evokes luxurious floral scents with apple and citrus aromas. It has a solid structure with a refreshing and sweet finish. Made using the traditional Champagne method of secondary bottle fermentation, it is aged for at least 12 months at temperatures not exceeding 16°C.
